Flinders Street Station – Print

$70$220 ex GST

“Flinders Street Station” is part of the “Melbourne Poster Series”. Stylistically influenced by the retro/vintage travel poster. Using blocks of colour in flat illustration style, captured is the iconic and highly photographed Flinders Street Station. A view from inside looking out, the historic building located on the corner of Flinders and Swanston Streets, Melbourne, opened in 1854 and is Australia’s oldest train station. The Melbourne saying “I’ll meet you under the clocks” refers to the row of indicator clocks above the main entrance, which shows time of departure for each line. Perhaps we should add to that saying “with coffee”.
