Our Sunshine Coast: A Sunshine Coast Art Exhibition Celebrating the Places We Love
If you’re looking for a Sunshine Coast art exhibition this August, I’d love to invite you to visit Our Sunshine Coast, proudly hosted by Bendigo Community Bank Marcoola from 13 August to 6 October 2026.
This exhibition brings together a collection of original Sunshine Coast digital artworks celebrating the places, memories and moments that make this remarkable region feel like home.
Whether you’re a local, a regular visitor or discovering the Coast for the first time, I hope these artworks encourage you to pause, reconnect with a favourite place and see our beautiful region through a fresh artistic perspective.
Inspired by the Beauty of the Sunshine Coast
There is something about the Sunshine Coast that keeps drawing us back.
It might be the first glimpse of Mount Coolum as you drive north.
The sound of waves rolling onto the beach at sunrise.
A walk through Noosa National Park.
An afternoon beside the Maroochy River.
Or watching the sun disappear behind the hinterland.
These simple moments quietly become part of our lives. They shape our memories, connect us to place and remind us why we love calling the Sunshine Coast home.
Those moments have inspired every artwork in this collection.
Why I Create Digital Art
I’m often inspired by the beauty that surrounds us every day.
When an idea strikes, I love being able to capture it immediately. Working on my iPad with an Apple Pencil gives me the freedom to create wherever inspiration appears, while allowing me to combine creativity, precision and bold graphic design.
Every artwork is an original digital creation, inspired by the optimism and timeless style of the Mid-Century travel posters of the 1950s and 60s.
Rather than simply recreating a landscape, I aim to capture how a place feels.
The excitement of arriving somewhere new.
The peace of an early morning walk.
The joy of a family holiday.
The comfort of returning to a place you love.
My hope is that every artwork sparks a treasured memory, inspires a future adventure or simply makes you smile.
More Than an Art Exhibition
One of the greatest rewards of sharing my artwork has been hearing the stories people tell when they recognise a familiar location.
Everyone has their own Sunshine Coast.
A favourite beach.
A hidden lookout.
A walking trail.
A place where children learned to swim.
A destination that became a family tradition.
Those conversations remind me that art has a wonderful way of bringing people together through shared memories and a love of place.
The exhibition features a curated selection of professionally framed archival fine art prints available for purchase.
It also offers a glimpse into my growing collection of more than 35 original Sunshine Coast digital artworks.
I hope visitors continue exploring the collection online, where they’ll discover even more Sunshine Coast locations together with a range of fine art print sizes to suit different homes and spaces.
Supporting Local Art and Community
I’m incredibly grateful to Bendigo Community Bank Marcoola for generously supporting local artists and providing a welcoming community space for this exhibition.
Their commitment to creativity, local business and community connection makes opportunities like this possible, and I’m sincerely thankful to the entire team for their encouragement and support.

Because every place has a story.
