Commissioned digital artworks are so fun to create! My client wanted me to capture his niece’s cafe, a busy patisserie in Melbourne, Australia. I was inspired to paint The Melbourne Poster Series after returning to, and re-connecting with, my home town of Melbourne. We had been living abroad in San Diego, California for nearly a decade and soon after we arrived back I took a day trip into the city to discover modern Melbourne.
The “California Coastal Series” is my first digital art series (despite being one of the local Melbourne artists), inspired by my recent travels back to San Diego, California, the city I called home between 2008 – 2017.
