What is ‘Digital Art?’ It’s an artistic work that uses digital technology as part of the creative process to produce digital fine art prints online. It has been around longer than we think!

When we think about travelling, most of us want an authentic travel experience and if you love both arts and travel…you can enjoy both!
Why is art important? Beauty is in the eye of the art lover! According to Philosophy Now Magazine “The fundamental difference between art and beauty is that art is about who has produced it, whereas beauty depends on who’s looking”.
When it comes to design for me nothing beats the sophistication and glamour of the art deco era. It’s an era which greatly influences my art – especially my art deco prints online, in particular my recent “Melbourne Poster Series”.
The brilliant primary hues, the glossy monochromatic schemes, to the elegant pastels and neural colours; the combination of loud, vibrant and even kitschy colours seamlessly and glamorously capture the colourful beauty of Art Deco Melbourne Prints and their design.
Commissioned digital artworks are so fun to create! My client wanted me to capture his niece’s cafe, a busy patisserie in Melbourne, Australia. It was a personal gift, so I really wanted to capture her heart with a fun, light & airy piece that was very much a representation of the cafe, being one of the local Melbourne artists myself.
As I stood in front of my easel with the sun shining through my studio windows, I imagined myself in a sunlit studio style warehouse with large windows, somewhere in mid-town Manhattan NY. If only I could time travel back to the 1960s and have a day inside Andy Warhol’s studio.
A Myki Card is your ticket to travel on trains, tram and buses in Melbourne and many parts of regional Victoria. If you live in Melbourne and use public transport a Myki card makes getting around Melbourne easy!
I was inspired to paint The Melbourne Poster Series after returning to, and re-connecting with, my home town of Melbourne. We had been living abroad in San Diego, California for nearly a decade and soon after we arrived back I took a day trip into the city to discover modern Melbourne.
The “California Coastal Series” is my first digital art series (despite being one of the local Melbourne artists), inspired by my recent travels back to San Diego, California, the city I called home between 2008 – 2017.
